Chocolate Lovers Chocolate Cake
Recipe:
2 eggs 
1 cup margarine 
2/3 cup cocoa 
11/2 cups plain flour 
11/2 cups self raising flour 
1 cup sour cream 
2 tsp bi carb soda 
2 tsp vanilla essence 
1 cup hot water 
2 cups of caster sugar 
 

Method:

Mix all ingredients together until smooth, pour into 2 buttered 8" (20cm) round cake pans, bake at 180ºC (350ºF) for 40-45 minutes, cool and then ice with Orchard Chocolate Icing. See our 'Great Cakes' page for examples and ideas. 
 
Iip:
Try 'spicing-up' your Chocolate Lovers Chocolate Cake by lacing the icing with orange liqueur such as Cointreau when you are kneading. Even a little freshly squeezed orange juice and zest of orange can give the icing and cake extra special appeal.
